Hi, I’m Emily
With an undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology and a postgraduate degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology, I am uniquely equipped with specialised knowledge and skills to support the diverse needs of young individuals.
I bring over 3.5 years of experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and tutoring students in Psychology and Sociology. My expertise spans working with a broad spectrum of learners, ranging from young children to mature adults. I specialise in creating tailored and engaging lessons for students at GCSE, A-Level, and Undergraduate levels, catering to various exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, Edexcel International, and Eduqas.
I provide comprehensive support for each student's learning journey, offering personalised feedback and progress summaries monthly. This keeps students and parents informed and ensures we are aligned in our goals, optimising academic success. It should also be noted that I have an enhanced DBS check.

My academic journey includes degrees in psychology with focuses on developmental psychology, quantitative and qualitative methods, educational psychology, mental health, and contemporary social inequalities.

My interest in mindfulness practices has led me to integrate these techniques into my sessions, promoting both academic success and emotional well-being.

Mindful Meetings
Mindful Meetings offer compassionate online chats tailored for children and adolescents, providing a safe space to discuss mental health, manage stress, and navigate difficult times with personalised support.
SEN Support
SEN Support provides specialised online meetings for children and adolescents with special education needs, including, but not limited to, autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. Our tailored sessions offer understanding, guidance, and strategies to thrive academically and emotionally. When requiring SEN support, please book a regular session so you are not charged any extra (but leave a note to provide information on your specific needs within the booking form)
English as a Second Language Teaching
As a native English speaker from the UK, I provide customised English language tutoring services. My passion for language, combined with my Master's degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology, enables me to offer tailored support to students of all ages. I'm committed to not only enhancing language proficiency but also cultivating a nurturing learning atmosphere that promotes growth and development.

“We sought a tutor for my daughter to assist with her A-level Psychology exams. This was as much confidence building and exam techniques as it was knowledge transfer.
Emily was brilliant at coaching my introverted daughter, and really put her at ease, she really tailored her approach and demystified all the elements that were causing confusion. We had a ‘chemistry session’ so that both could introduce themselves and agreed that both felt comfortable entering into a tutoring session.
